This thread is so new members can introduce themselves, saying a bit about themselves if they want, like how they discovered Richelle's books or what they do for a living. Whatever you want. Or you can simply say 'hi'

I'm Cem, a full time bookaholic. My book addicition is only bettered by my horse obsession, though because I don't own a horse, I can still afford books

I tired Richelle's Vampire Academy books first out of her series about 18 months ago, a couple months before Shadow Kiss was released, and knew I was on to a new favourite series within a couple of chapters. I picked up both the Succubus and Dark Swan books after that and found them to be very nearly just as good. VA is my favourite of her series' because of Dimitri, but I love the other two as well!

I found Richelle's books through a recommendation from Rachel Vincent's Discussion Group. I picked up the Vampire Academy books first and them moved on to her Georgina Kincaid books and then Thorn Queen. I really enjoy the depths of Richelle's characters and her writing humor. My favorite RM series is the Georgina Kincaid series, mostly the Georgina/Seth love story just has me wrapped it's little literary finder. I can't get enough!

I devour urban fantasy, paranormal romance, YA, and romance books. I have hundreds of eBooks and audiobooks, but I only by physical books when I absolutely love an author. I'm a sucker for just about any storyline that contain romance...No romance....no real interested for me.

My current favorite authors: Richelle Mead, Rachel Vincent (don't make me choose between the two), Kim Harrison, and Laurell K. Hamilton. My life wouldn't be complete without any of these amazing women!

Favorite Female Character: RM's Georgina Kincaid
Favorite Male Character: Toss up between RM's Seth Mortensen, Rachel Vincent's Jace Hammond, and LKH's Jason Schuyler
Favorite Place to Read: My old hammock in Florida

I read the Dark Swan series because Amazon recommended it. And then I read Vampire Academy and Georgina Kincaid because Cem recommended them so cheers mate

I'm Jessica, it was actually Aly and Cem from Rachel Vincent's Discussion group who got me reading Richelle Mead.

Absolutely Loved Vampire Academy. Already got my friend hooked on it! also enjoyed the Dark Swan series. Haven't gotten around to the Georgina Kincaid ones though.

I love the VA series. I'm reluctant to mention that I saw the first book at my bookstore and didn't buy it because I didn't like the cover and the blurb wasn't interesting. However, I found it in my library several times afterwards and decided it must have been fate.
It's one of my favourite series. Ever.

I'm a relatively new fan of Richelle Mead's work. I've only read Succubus Blues and Succubus On Top, so far. I very much like the Georgina Kincaid character, and I'm looking forward to catching up with the series.

My name is Jennifer. I live in Florida and will be transferring to UCF in fall.

Of the three series, my favorite will always be the Succubus series. I love the Vampire Academy books as well; Dark Swan was more difficult for me to get into.

Welcome! I second all three of those teams lol I know Carter will never happen, but I like the idea even so. Also, I adore Roman. Personally to start with I found Dark Swan easier than Georgina to get in to, but I love Georgie just slightly more now, but mostly I adore all three, VA just a little more than the other two. Rose and Dimitri, just can't beat 'em! lol
