Correlations Between VA & Succubus Series (Spolier

I wasn't really sure where to post this. I thinking about Richelle's writing style, and I see correlations between both series. So I'm going to start with Roman and Adrian.

I think that I love Adrian and Roman for the same reasons. They basically fulfill the same purpose in both series. They are that cocky, arrogant, bad boy that every girl wants. They are also a distraction for each of the female leads, while the soul-mate (ie Dimitri and Seth) are 'unavailable'. Both Adrian and Roman love the female lead, but really have no hope in the long run. This is very sad to me, because they are soooo my type.

What do you guys think?

Agreed. They do play the same role for the leads, and I can't really see a real happy ending for either of them at the moment. Personaly, I adore Roman, but I'm not really a fan of Adrian, can't really explain why. But I don't want either of them to be miserable at the end either. At the same time though, I think they both play an important role to help keep Georgina/Rose on the right tracks while they're missing their soul mate.

That said, I think Adrian is going to play a bigger role in the outcome of the VA series than Roman is in the Succubus one. Adrian's become a major player in his own right, even though he's not going to be Rose's guy at the end.
