I wanted to start a separate thread for one little bit of disappointment that I felt from this book. I loved the build up of the Dana plot thread. I had a feeling it was going in the direction of Dana being interested in women instead of men (poor Bastien). But I was so disappointed by the 'fade to black' handling of the scene. I realize that Richelle Mead is sparing with the sex scenes, which I can appreciate. But I love her use of description when she actually does write them. I felt teased and then left hanging when it cut to 4 days later. Yes, I'm a guy, so the scene between Dana and Georgina would have been super hot.
Was anyone else disappointed? That's it for now, until I see some responses or I'm finished reading the next book.

lol! Sorry, can't help it, but the fact that, as a guy, you were disappointed by that makes me smile. Personally, as a woman, and not one in to girl-on-girl action, I'm happy it wasn't done in detail. But really, if that's your only disappointment with the book, that's pretty good!!

Yeah, typical guy reaction. But it was such exquisite build up. And I imagined it in her words. It could have been so awesome.

I'm not surprised how much RM choose to show. I'm not really disappointed eitherway. I would have enjoyed the scene whether or not we got to see (read) everything. But I'm pretty sure RM believes that a majority of her fan base doesn't feel the way auberon and I do. It's not the scene itself, but the fallout from what happen is the real point in he story.
