There was a thread with a question on Richelle's facebook disccussion page that caught my eye, asking if anyone else had noticed that Adrian doesn't have a guardian.
I actually hadn't thought about that before but realised that if he does, it's never been mentioned and that seems odd too. So my question...why doesn't he have one? What do you guys think?

Ya know, I never even thought about. You would think that someone so close to the crown would be more protected. Cause we all know the boy couldn't even protect himself. Wonder if that was just an accidental omission or a future plot point? I also wonder if they concider him being at the academy as protection in itself?

I hadn't thought about it either. But now I have, I find it kind of odd. It's possible he's declined a personal Guardian when he's somewhere like the academy because the place is warded and there are lots of Guardians there, but you'd think he'd be forced to have one outside the Academy or the court. I'm surprised it hasn't come up either. Maybe it was just left out by mistake as you say. Just makes me wonder lol

I never realized that Adrian doesn't have a guardian. I wonder why though because he is a royal and aren't all royals meant to have a guardian?
