My copy of Shadows came today and I just finished it a few minutes ago. Not giving away any spoilers yet cause I know most people don't have it yet, but oh my gosh it's amazing!! I totally loved it but the ending was killer. Now I'm desperate for the next one. The idea of waiting a year for it feels nearly as bad as the wait for Spirit Bound when I finished Blood Promise. And that's saying something.

OMG!!! OMG!!!! I'll only ask one thing...Good killer (like Seth/Maddie hook-up) or just-plain-amazing killer. I saw that RM posted today that it is a soft rollout. SO that mean I may spend my day off tomorrow hitting every book store between here and 30 mile radius.

I just can't wait! I just checked with out local Barnes and Noble, and Borders Books. Neither have it shelved yet. It going to be one of those check back daily things. I'm going nuts!

So I weighed all my options and decided to get a autographed copy from the University Bookstore. I figured that she said that she was pretty sure they were going to ship early. If I sit around and wait, I may or may not get it early. This was even if I get it a few days later, it will still be autographed.

Awesome!! I'm getting a copy of Shadows from Richelle as part of my prize for the Valentines contest (I'm assuming it'll be signed lol) otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd end up buying a signed copy from UBS when I order a signed copy of Spirit Bound in May. Will cost me a whole lot in shipping, but I don't really care, I want the full set of US versions signed.

My copy arrived on Saturday but I was away for the weekend so I didn't get it til last night and I haven't had a chance to start it yet! Think I will tonight though and just leave the book I'm reading now til afterwards!

I'm lucky overwhelmed with work and helping my parent move a crossed the state. OR else I may not have had the willpower. All my crazy work will pay off tomorrow, I get out early. That will be my biggest test of wills. I'll let you know how well that goes.  |

Yesterday, I checked the local bookstores, and no Succubus Shadows. Good news, I just got an e-mail from Ubookstore saying my book has been shipped. I'll have it next week. Aaaaaaaaaaa. Should have paid the extra $7 and got it in 3 days. Just seemed silly at the time.

So my autograph copy still hasn't arrived. I have the morning off, and was planning on just buying it today. My bff loves the series too, so I thought i could just give it to her. Well, this morning I work up to see that the audiobook version was available at Audible.com. I usually read a book first, and then listen to it after. BUT I will change my routine just this once. I'm only a couple chapters in and I can't wait to finish it and discuss it with you guys!

I was actually 18 chapters in, before my autographed copy even arrived. I'm very happy that I downloaded the audiobook yesterday. I should be done by tonight.
